„Staszic” w Berlinie
W dniach 22–25 maja 2018 r., 37 uczniów Gimnazjum i Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. St. Staszica, pod opieką nauczyciela języka niemieckiego p. Urszuli Pasieki oraz p. Beaty Trześniowskiej i p. Anny Modzelewskiej, uczestniczyło w wycieczce do Berlina połączonej z warsztatami językowymi. Był to już trzeci wyjazd na warsztaty języka niemieckiego (dwa wcześniejsze do Wiednia), zorganizowany przez p. Pasiekę.
Staszic znowu we Lwowie!
Dnia 16 maja 2018 roku klasa IIIcg pojechała na wycieczkę klasową do Lwowa wraz z opiekunami: Neonilą Pawluk, Iwoną Fietko i s. Bernadettą Kozieł. Po przekroczeniu granicy, podziwialiśmy krajobrazy Ukrainy, przejeżdżając przez Czerwonograd, niegdyś Krystynopol, Radechiw i inne mniejsze miejscowości. We Lwowie powitał nas przewodnik pan Jurij Smirnow – autor wielu przewodników po Lwowie, wydanych w języku polskim, redaktor gazety polskiej „Kurier Galicyjski”. Po krótkiej przejażdżce po Lwowskich ulicach udaliśmy się do pięknej katedry Św. Jury. Świątynia powstała na wyniosłym wzgórzu za miastem na miejscu pustelni bazyliańskiej w XVIII w. Jej twórcą jest jeden z najwybitniejszych architektów doby rokoka – Bernard Meretyn. Fasadę zdobią genialne posągi dłuta Johanna Pinsla, jednego z najwybitniejszych rzeźbiarzy europejskich swojej epoki.
Gimnazjaliści w Poleskim Parku Narodowym

7 maja 2018 r. klasy drugie naszego gimnazjum udały się do Poleskiego Parku Narodowego. Tam, podzielone na dwie grupy, eksplorowały malownicze bory oraz torfowiska. Widzieliśmy naturalne środowisko rozwoju żółwia błotnego oraz wysłuchaliśmy opowieści o jego cyklu życiowym. Wśród licznych gatunków roślin ujrzeliśmy charakterystyczne dla torfowisk – m.in. bagno zwyczajne czy rosiczkę. Na własnej skórze przekonaliśmy się, jakie uczucie towarzyszy stąpaniu po podmokłych łąkach oraz odparliśmy atak licznych komarów. Przebywaliśmy nad Jeziorem Mosznym – siedliskiem ptactwa wodnego oraz objętej ochroną ryby – strzebli błotnej.
Uczniowie klas biologiczno-chemicznych Staszica na Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Lublinie
W czwartek 12 kwietnia 2018 r. uczniowie klas biologiczno-chemicznych: klasy II B i klasy III B Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks Stanisława Staszica pod opieką wychowawców Anny Modzelewskiej, Barbary Brzezickiej i pedagog Jolanty Korneluk uczestniczyli w dniu Otwartym Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Lublinie.
Szkolenie wyjazdowe tutorów
Pierwszego dnia wiosny grupa nauczycieli ze Staszica wybrała się na niecodzienne wagary. Tutorzy - bo o nich mowa - odwiedzili Liceum Ogólnokształcące Społeczne nr 17 w Warszawie, przy ul. Batorego 14, aby spotkać się z nauczycielami, z uczniami i z dyrektorem placówki, gdzie metoda tutoringu od lat przynosi pozytywne efekty.
Zajęcia warsztatowe na Uniwersytecie Przyrodniczym w Lublinie
W czwartek, 8 marca 2018 roku, uczniowie klasy II C podczas Dnia Otwartego odwiedzili Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Lublinie.
Warsztaty popularnonaukowe, stoiska prezentujące osiągnięcia kół naukowych i organizacji studenckich, zwiedzanie laboratoriów i pracowni, wystawy sprzętu naukowego, konkursy z nagrodami - to główne atrakcje, czekające na przybyłych. Każdy z sześciu Wydziałów Uczelni był reprezentowany poprzez swoje koła naukowe i organizacje studenckie, które przygotowały stoiska w Centrum Kongresowym i holu AGRO II.
Ciągną, ciągną sanie…
Korzystając z pięknej śnieżnej aury, w dniu 18 lutego 2018 r. uczniowie klasy II C, pod opieką wychowawcy Moniki Młynarczuk i siostry Bernadetty Kozieł, wybrali się na kulig. Wyjazd był okazją poznania uroków zimowego lasu oraz codziennego funkcjonowania stadniny koni w Dąbrowie Tomaszowskiej. Znalazł się również czas na zimowe szaleństwo w śniegu. Podczas sanny stoczyliśmy bitwę na śnieżki i mieliśmy okazję podziwiania pięknych widoków, spowitych białym puchem. Po kuligu na wszystkich uczestników czekała przyjemność pieczenia kiełbasek. Te kilka godzin na łonie natury sprawiło nam olbrzymią frajdę i sprzyjało integracji naszej klasy.
Wycieczka do jednostki wojskowej w Hrubieszowie
W dniu 24 stycznia 2018 r. uczniowie klasy I E i II D, pod opieką wychowawców – Katarzyny Krotkiewicz i Anny Pękowskiej, uczestniczyli w wycieczce do koszar 2. Pułku Rozpoznawczego im. majora Henryka Dobrzańskiego ps. „Hubal” w Hrubieszowie.
