"Matematyka bez granic" w Staszicu
Międzynarodowy Konkurs „Mathématiques Sans Frontières” (Matematyka Bez Granic) – edycja Polska, w roku szkolnym 2018/2019 ma już XXX edycję, organizowany jest pod auspicjami Rady Europy. Polscy uczniowie uczestniczą w tych zawodach po raz dwudziesty siódmy, a uczniowie hrubieszowskiego Staszica po raz pierwszy! Celem konkursu "Matematyka Bez Granic" jest zbliżenie między krajami i miastami Unii Europejskiej, szkołami publicznymi i niepublicznymi, matematyką i językami obcymi. Wszyscy uczniowie, we wszystkich krajach rozwiązują te same zadania. Konkurs ten ma za zadanie zwiększenie zainteresowania matematyką poprzez pokazanie jej zastosowań w życiu codziennym. Pozwala na wykorzystanie własnej inicjatywy w rozwiązywaniu zadań oraz na rozwijaniu twórczej aktywności uczniów. Ponadto wyrabia umiejętność pracy w zespole i zachęca do nauki języków obcych. Daje również możliwość sprawdzenia swojej wiedzy oraz porównanie jej z wiedzą rówieśników z Europy oraz zachęca do pokonywania barier językowych w nawiązywaniu kontaktów z rówieśnikami z krajów Unii Europejskiej.

IX Konkursu Wiedzy o Rosji
dla klas VII, VIII Szkół Podstawowych i 3 klas Gimnazjum

Kacper Węgor po raz kolejny lauratem dyktanda w języku angielskim
29.01.2019 r. odbył się finał III Dyktanda w Języku Angielskim organizowanego przez PWSZ im. Szymona Szymonowica w Zamościu. Podobnie jak w latach poprzednich w ścisłym finale nie mogło zabraknąć uczniów „Staszica”.
W tegorocznej edycji konkursu wzięło udział ponad 800 uczniów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych z powiatów: zamojskiego, tomaszowskiego, biłgorajskiego, hrubieszowskiego, krasnostawskiego, janowskiego i lubaczowskiego. Do finału zakwalifikowało się 32 uczniów. Warunkiem przejścia eliminacji było uzyskanie co najmniej 260 punktów z 265 możliwych.
Pogadanka profilaktyczna „Bezpieczne Ferie”
Dnia 23 stycznia 2019 r. odbyła się pogadanka profilaktyczna z udziałem Przedstawicieli Komendy Powiatowej Policji w Hrubieszowie. Nasi goście apelowali do młodych ludzi o rozsądne spędzanie czasu wolnego podczas zbliżającego się zimowego odpoczynku. Zwracali szczególną uwagę na bezpieczeństwo podczas zabaw zimowych. Zachęcali do korzystania z bezpiecznych, miejskich lodowisk. Poruszony został również temat zagrożeń związanych z zażywaniem dopalaczy, problem ten przybliżył zaprezentowany film.
Funkcjonariusze przypomnieli również młodzieży numery alarmowe oraz wskazali, w jakich sytuacjach ich używać.
Warsztaty laboratoryjne na Uniwersytecie Przyrodniczym w Lublinie
18 stycznia 2019 r. młodzież klasy IIb i IIe Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie gościła w Katedrze Botaniki Wydziału Ogrodnictwa i Architektury Krajobrazu Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego w Lublinie.
Damian Skiba w finale Konkursu Matematycznego
W grudniu 2018 r. uczniowie naszej szkoły rywalizowali w Konkursie Matematycznym zorganizowanym przez Państwową Wyższą Szkołę Zawodową im. Szymona Szymonowica w Zamościu oraz I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Jana Zamoyskiego w Zamościu pod patronatem Oddziału Lubelskiego Polskiego Towarzystwa Matematycznego.
"Teatralne Potyczki" w Staszicu
16 stycznia 2019 r. w Hrubieszowskim Domu Kultury odbył się spektakl Narodowego Teatru Edukacji z Wrocławia pt. "Teatralne Potyczki". W wydarzeniu wzięło udział 10 klas z naszej szkoły. Uczniowie mieli okazję nie tylko oglądać aktorów na scenie, ale wziąć udział w warsztatach aktorskich i od kulis poznać ten ceniony zawód. Julia Szelezin, Cyprian Kowalczyk i Janusz Staniak mogli na kilka chwil poczuć się prawdziwymi aktorami... Przygotowany mini – egzamin wstępny do szkoły aktorskiej zdali celująco! Julia miała okazję zatańczyć, Cyprian zagrał staruszka i zaśpiewał, a Janusz czytał fragmenty tekstu i odegrał małego chłopca.

15 czerwca 2023 roku w Lublinie odbył się Wojewódzki Finał Licealiady w Festiwalu Sztafet. Znakomicie zaprezentowali się uczniowie I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie zajmując miejsca na podium! Gratulacje!!!
