W ramach współpracy między I LO im. ks. S. Staszica w Hrubieszowie a Wyższą Szkołą Informatyki i Zarządzania w Rzeszowie powstała klasa patronacka. W skład klasy wchodzą uczniowie wszystkich klas o profilu biologiczno- chemicznym.
Założeniem naszej współpracy jest to, aby zainspirować młodzież kierunkiem Pielęgniarstwo poprzez umożliwienie udziału w zajęciach organizowanych przez uczelnię wyższą. Jednocześnie zależy nam na ukazaniu możliwości rozwoju i osiągnięcia sukcesu w zawodzie pielęgniarki/pielęgniarza w wielu gałęziach sektora medycznego.

Drodzy Staśko-przyjaciele
Szkoła to ludzie, którzy ją tworzą. Nauczyciele i uczniowie I LO im. ks. St. Staszica stanowią zespół współpracujący ze sobą każdego dnia. Mostem między nimi jest wiedza i relacje międzyludzkie. Dzięki temu młodzież przyswaja sobie nie tylko wiadomości teoretyczne i umiejętności praktyczne, ale także przygotowuje się do dorosłego, samodzielnego życia. Jedną z formacji istniejących w Staszicu jest Samorząd Uczniowski. Uczniowie pracując w nim kształcą swoją kreatywność, umiejętność współpracy, a jednocześnie wyrażania własnego zdania. Przede wszystkim jednak rozwijają prospołeczną postawę oraz uświadamiają sobie i swoim rówieśnikom, jak ważne są rozmowy i szacunek dla drugiego człowieka. Sukces Izy Mrozowskiej na arenie międzynarodowej!
Laureaci z 80 państw oraz z 85 regionów Rosji - łącznie 20 grup, ponad 200 osób od 27 kwietnia do 5 maja walczyło o wejście do półfinału Międzynarodowego Konkursu „Żywa klasyka” 2021.
Podium w XII Konkursie Slawistycznym
7 maja 2021 r. odbył się XII Konkurs Slawistyczny, adresowany do uczniów szkół średnich z całej Polski. Zorganizowany został z okazji Dnia Słowiańskiego Piśmiennictwa i Kultury przez Katedrę Literaturoznawstwa Słowiańskiego i Językoznawstwa Słowiańskiego Instytutu Neofilologii UMCS, Centrum Języka i Kultury Rosyjskiej UMCS oraz Stowarzyszenie Miłośników i Kultury Rosyjskiej. Patronat honorowy nad konkursem objęły: Rosyjski Ośrodek Nauki i Kultury (Rosyjski Dom) w Warszawie, Fundacja „Русский мир” oraz Stowarzyszenie Miłośników Języka, Literatury i Kultury Rosyjskiej. Konkurs odbył się w formacie online na platformie MS Teams.

Nikomu z nas nie jest obce słowo MATURA, bo niektórzy już zdążyli się na własnej skórze przekonać, jak ona wygląda, inni natomiast wciąż czekają, by jej doświadczyć. A niektórzy właśnie są trakcie zmagań.
Nie każdy jednak zna pochodzenie nazwy egzaminu dojrzałości - a wywodzi się od łacińskiego słowa „maturus” czyli dojrzały.
