Szkolne Mistrzostwa Sportowe Dziewcząt w Koszykówce
Dnia 8 marca 2017r. w Zespole Szkół nr 2 w Hrubieszowie odbyły się Szkolne Mistrzostwa Sportowe Dziewcząt w Koszykówce. Rozgrywki te miały miejsce z okazji szczególnego dnia, poświęconego pięknym paniom – święta „Dnia Kobiet”. Organizacją tego przedsięwzięcia zajęły się Sorki: Barbara Cygan i Anna Kusiak wraz z dziewczętami z sekcji koszykarskiej i siatkarskiej m.in. Maria Łyko, Kasia Szlonzak, Paula Suchowska. Zawody oficjalnie otworzyła Pani Dyrektor Alicja Borkowska, życząc wszystkim zdrowej i pięknej rywalizacji.
Laureaci ze Staszica
W dniu 1 marca br. w Centrum Kultury Filmowej w Zamościu odbyła się konferencja historyczna pod hasłem Wszystko dla Polski Powstanie Zamojskie 1942-1944, podsumowująca projekt upowszechniający wiedzę o wydarzeniach historycznych nazywanych Powstaniem Zamojskim.
Wyniki eliminacji szkolnych @lgorytmu
Szkolne eliminacje Konkursu Informatycznego Algorytm odbyły się 09.03.2017 r. W etapie powiatowym (24.04.2017 r.) nasze gimnazjum reprezentować będą: Paweł Sala (IIIag), Bartłomiej Krzebiet (IIIdg), Kacper Osiński (IIbg) oraz Mikołaj Ślażyński (IIbg).

Laureatki Wojewódzkiego Konkursu Kuratoryjnego z biologii ze Staszica
8 lutego 2017 r. odbył się wojewódzki etap Kuratoryjnego Konkursu z Biologii, który zweryfikował wiedzę lubelskich gimnazjalistów. Gimnazjum im. ks. Stanisława Staszica kładzie bardzo duży nacisk na rozbudzanie w swoich uczniach pasji naukowych, także z przedmiotów przyrodniczych. Wysiłek wkładany w zdobywanie wiedzy przynosi wymierne rezultaty i zaszczytne tytuły konkursowe.
Dzień Matematyki w naszej szkole
Z okazji obchodów Ogólnopolskiego Dnia Matematyki (12 marca) Samorząd Uczniowski i nauczyciele matematyki zapraszają uczniów do udziału w konkursie drużynowym, który ma na celu pokazać jasną stronę tej nauki :) Z każdej klasy może się zgłosić jedna trzyosobowa drużyna. Zgłoszenia przyjmują nauczyciele matematyki.
Konkursy odbędą się w dniu 17.03.2017 r. w auli szkoły:
- na 3 godzinie lekcyjnej dla gimnazjum
- na 4 godzinie lekcyjnej dla liceum
Dla zwycięskich drużyn przewidziano dyplomy i nagrody!
Siatkarze „Staszica” Mistrzami Rejonowej Licealiady w Piłce Siatkowej Mężczyzn
6 marca w Zespole Szkół Nr 2 w Hrubieszowie rozegrano Rejonową Licealiadę w Piłce Siatkowej Mężczyzn. W zmaganiach o mistrzostwo przy bardzo licznie zgromadzonej publiczności udział wzięło 4 drużyny z naszego rejonu, a mianowicie III LO Zamość, I LO Krasnystaw, ZS Nr 2 Hrubieszów „Staszic”, ZS Nr 1 Tomaszów Lubelski, którzy rozegrali spotkania w systemie „każdy z każdym”.
Jakub Woś z kl. I bg w finale XI Olimpiady Franciszkańskiej o św. Maksymilianie M. Kolbe
2 marca 2017 r. odbył się w Zamościu II etap XI Olimpiady Franciszkańskiej o św. Maksymilianie M. Kolbe. Do finału zakwalifikował się z naszej szkoły Jakub Woś, uczeń pierwszej klasy gimnazjum. Etap ogólnopolski odbędzie się w Siedlcach, 29 marca 2017 r.
Wioleta Kusiak oraz Wiktoria Rybczyńska w finale ogólnopolskiej olimpiady
Dnia 2 marca 2017 r. w Zamościu odbył się diecezjalny etap XI Ogólnopolskiej Franciszkańskiej Olimpiady Wiedzy o św. Maksymilianie Kolbe. Spośród jego uczestników, do szczebla centralnego awansowały dwie uczennice naszego liceum, Wioleta Kusiak z kl. II d oraz Wiktoria Rybczyńska z kl. II d, zajmując odpowiednio pierwsze i trzecie miejsce.

15 czerwca 2023 roku w Lublinie odbył się Wojewódzki Finał Licealiady w Festiwalu Sztafet. Znakomicie zaprezentowali się uczniowie I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie zajmując miejsca na podium! Gratulacje!!!
