Czytamy? Czytamy!
Czytanie, najbardziej ludzka czynność na świecie, pozwala odnaleźć siebie. Rozwija nie tylko umysł, może również przedłużyć życie. Według badań 63% Polaków nie czyta w ciągu roku ani jednej książki. Badania obejmują jednak osoby powyżej 15 roku życia. Młodzież czyta znacznie więcej. Warto pokazać, że rozwijamy się, jesteśmy trendy, bo … czytamy.
Debata Oxfordzka
Dnia 19.05.2017r. w naszej szkole odbyły się po raz pierwszy dwie debaty oxfordzkie- jedna dla gimnazjum i druga dla liceum. Tematyka obu debat była dość kontrowersyjna, ale bliska każdemu uczniowi. Teza dla gimnazjalistów brzmiała:

13 maja 2017 r. w Gimnazjum nr 5 w Zamościu odbył się finał konkursu matematycznego dla gimnazjalistów "Zagimak". Naszą szkołę reprezentowało aż siedmiu uczniów! Miło nam poinformować, iż uczniowie p. Marzeny Banach - Jacek Tyszkiewicz (IIag) oraz Aleksandra Berlicka (IIIcg), zostali laureatami. To już kolejny sukces matematyczny naszych uczniów! Gratulujemy!
Zwycięzcy w Grze Miejskiej „Świata Opisanie Wiktora Zina”
17 maja 2017 roku, drużyna Naszego Liceum w składzie: Weronika Kozaczuk, Małgorzata Jędrusiak, Wiktoria Rybczyńska, Jacek Perechowski, Klaudia Żóraw pod opieką nauczyciela języka polskiego - Katarzyny Krotkiewicz, zdobyła tytuł Zwycięzcy w Grze Miejskiej „Świata Opisanie Wiktora Zina”. Organizatorem Gry była Powiatowa Biblioteka Publiczna im. prof. Wiktora Zina w Hrubieszowie, która w tym roku po raz 10 czciła pamięć o śmierci swojego Patrona.
Awans Staszica na województwo!!!
We wtorek 18.05.2017 w Zamościu odbyła się Rejonowa Gimnazjada w Szkolnej Drużynowej Lidze Lekkoatletycznej. Uczennice ze staszicowskiego gimnazjum po eliminacjach powiatowych i rejonowych awansowały na szczebel wojewódzki i będą walczyły o udział w zawodach ogólnopolskich.
Finaliści II Wojewódzkiego Konkursu Matematycznego „Matematyka z kalkulatorem graficznym”
Z przyjemnością informujemy, że uczniowie naszego gimnazjum Jacek Tyszkiewicz (IIag), Tomasz Turek (IIcg) i Magdalena Bojarczuk (IIag) zostali finalistami II Wojewódzkiego Konkursu Matematycznego „Matematyka z kalkulatorem graficznym” zorganizowanego pod patronatem Marszałka Województwa Lubelskiego. Uczniowie uzyskali odpowiednio 82%, 80% i 68% możliwych do zdobycia punktów. Opiekunem uczniów jest p. Marzena Banach.
IV miejsce w Rejonowej Gimnazjadzie w Piłce Siatkowej Dziewcząt.
Dziewiątego marca 2017r w Tomaszowie Lubelskim odbyła się Rejonowa Gimnazjada w Piłce Siatkowej Dziewcząt. Drużyna z ZS NR2 w Hrubieszowie zajeła IV miejsce.
IV miejsce w Mistrzostwach Polski w Piłce Siatkowej KSM w Zamościu
W niedzielę 5 marca 2017 roku drużyna dziewcząt z ZS nr 2 w Hrubieszowie zajęła IV miejsce w VIII Diecezjalnych Mistrzostwach Polski w Piłce Siatkowej Katolickiego Stowarzyszenia Młodzieży w Diecezji Zamojsko-Lubaczowskiej.
