Jubileuszowo, tanecznie i radośnie...
W centrum naszego miasta, a dokładnie na miejskim deptaku, miała miejsce kolejna z imprez towarzyszących 100–leciu Liceum Ogółnokształcącego im ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie. Uczniowie naszej szkoły wyszli na ulice, aby rozdać przechodniom 100 balonów z logo jubileuszu oraz zatańczyć „belgijkę”, w której wzięło udział stu uczniów.

8.00 - Msza św. w kościele parafialnym p.w. św. Mikołaja.
9.15 - Uroczysta inauguracja roku szkolnego na placu szkolnym.
Wizyta młodzieży z Izraela
Jak co roku, uczniowie Zespołu Szkół nr 2 wraz z nauczycielami, p. Dyrektor Alicją Borkowską, p. Wicedyrektor Czesławą Semczuk oraz z p. Burmistrzem Tomaszem Zającem wspólnie oczekiwali na przyjazd i przywitanie młodzieży z Izraela przy cmentarzu żydowskim na ul. Kruczej. Wizyta rozpoczęła się około godziny 10.00 modlitwą przy pomniku upamiętniającym przodków naszych gości. Przy Ścianie Pamięci zostały złożone kwiaty i zapalone znicze.
Zakończenie roku szkolnego 2016/2017
Uroczyste pożegnanie roku szkolnego 2016/2017 odbyło się 23 czerwca, w hali sportowej naszej szkoły. Tradycyjnie były nagrody i wyróżnienia za osiągnięcia naukowe, sportowe, artystyczne, aktywność społeczną, czytelnictwo. Ogółem wręczonych zostało 446 nagród książkowych.

Wycieczka w Góry Świętokrzyskie
W dniach 12 -14 czerwca 2017 r. uczniowie z klasy ekonomicznej – 1c i 2c, realizujący rozszerzoną geografię, oraz zainteresowana edukacją przyrodniczą młodzież z klas 2a i 2b uczestniczyli w wyjeździe turystyczno – krajoznawczym w Góry Świętokrzyskie. Oprócz chwil relaksu i odpoczynku po blisko dziesięciomiesięcznej nauce, uczestnicy wycieczki poszerzyli swoją wiedzę geograficzną na temat historii, budowy geologicznej i cech środowiska przyrodniczego regionu.

Słowa te idealnie odzwierciedlają myśli uczestników czerwcowej wycieczki do pięknego, tak wiele znaczącego dla polskiej kultury miasta – Lwowa. W niedzielny poranek, 11 czerwca, grupa uczniów wraz z nauczycielami wybrała się za wschodnią granicę naszego państwa. Przejeżdżając przez urokliwe lwowskie uliczki trafiliśmy na Cmentarz Łyczakowski, który jest miejscem pochówku wielu zasłużonych dla Polski i Ukrainy ludzi kultury, nauki i polityki.
