Koszykarki ze "Staszica" trzeci rok z rzędu awansują na etap wojewódzki
Dnia 27 marca 2017 r., w Krasnymstawie, odbyła się rejonowa licealiada w piłce koszykowej dziewcząt. Powiat hrubieszowski reprezentowały zawodniczki z Zespołu Szkół nr 2. Dziewczęta musiały zmierzyć się z koszykarkami z Tomaszowa Lubelskiego, Krasnegostawu oraz z Zamościa.
Szkolenie wyjazdowe tutorów
Pierwszego dnia wiosny grupa nauczycieli ze Staszica wybrała się na niecodzienne wagary. Tutorzy - bo o nich mowa - odwiedzili Liceum Ogólnokształcące Społeczne nr 17 w Warszawie, przy ul. Batorego 14, aby spotkać się z nauczycielami, z uczniami i z dyrektorem placówki, gdzie metoda tutoringu od lat przynosi pozytywne efekty.
Pierwszy dzień wiosny z matematyką :)
Z okazji obchodów Ogólnopolskiego Dnia Matematyki (12 marca) Samorząd Uczniowski i nauczyciele matematyki zorganizowali 21.03.2018 r. matematyczny konkurs drużynowy dla reprezentacji klas.
Wykorzystując prezentację multimedialną "Dzień Matematyki 2018. Matematyka od kuchni" opublikowaną przez inicjatora i organizatora Dnia Matematyki w Polsce - Stowarzyszenie Doskonalenia i Rozwoju 4improve - patron merytoryczny e-math.pl, pod patronatem honorowym MEN, oddzielnie gimnazjaliści i licealiści zmierzyli się z 24 pytaniami, mając na ich rozwiązanie naprawdę niewiele czasu. Dla zwycięzców nagrody ufundował Samorząd Uczniowski.

17 marca w Warszawie, w Centrum Języka Rosyjskiego odbył się finał Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Młodych Recytatorów Prozy „Żywa Klasyka 2018". Udział wzięła młodzież z całej Polski: z Wrocławia, z Białej Podlaskiej, z Białegostoku, z Warszawy i innych miast.
VIII Konkurs „Wiedzy o Rosji” rozstrzygnięty!!!
W dniu 16 marca 2018 roku w Staszicu odbył się VIII Konkurs Wiedzy o Rosji dla klas VII szkół podstawowych z terenu miasta i powiatu hrubieszowskiego, zorganizowany przez Stowarzyszenie Edukacyjne „RAZEM”, Burmistrza Miasta Hrubieszowa i ZS Nr 2 w Hrubieszowie. Nagrody rzeczowe ufundował Burmistrz Miasta Hrubieszowa, zaś dyplomy i puchary ufundowało Stowarzyszenie Edukacyjne „ RAZEM” w Hrubieszowie.
Kacper Osiński laureatem konkursu geograficznego!
3 marca 2018 roku w XXI Liceum Ogólnokształcącym im. św. Stanisława Kostki w Lublinie odbyła się IX edycja wojewódzkiego Międzyszkolnego Konkursu Geograficznego dla Gimnazjalistów „Wędrujemy po mapie świata”. Konkurs objęty jest honorowym patronatem LUBELSKIEGO KURATORA OŚWIATY – Pani Teresy Misiuk i PREZYDENTA MIASTA LUBLIN – Pana Krzysztofa Żuka.
Dzień Kobiet na sportowo w „Staszicu”
Z okazji Dnia Kobiet, 8 marca w Zespole Szkół Nr2 w Hrubieszowie, odbyły się Mistrzostwa Dziewcząt Liceum w Piłce Koszykowej. W zmaganiach o atrakcyjne nagrody brały udział zawodniczki z 10 klas. Podzielono je na 3 grupy, w każdej z nich licealistki walczyły o dostanie się do finału.

Rok 2018 jest wyjątkowy dla Polaków z uwagi na setną rocznicę odzyskania niepodległości. Dla społeczności Gimnazjum i Liceum im. ks. Stanisława Staszica to również okrągły jubileusz istnienia szkoły, który obchodzić będziemy 9 – 10 czerwca.

15 czerwca 2023 roku w Lublinie odbył się Wojewódzki Finał Licealiady w Festiwalu Sztafet. Znakomicie zaprezentowali się uczniowie I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie zajmując miejsca na podium! Gratulacje!!!
