12 kwietnia 2018 r. odbył się w Siedlcach centralny etap XII Ogólnopolskiej Franciszkańskiej Olimpiady Wiedzy o św. Maksymilianie. Spośród kilkudziesięciu uczestników finału, w gronie najlepszych licealistów znalazła się uczennica „Staszica” z kl. III d, Wioleta Kusiak. Po raz kolejny potwierdziła ona swój poziom, co staje się szczególnym wyzwaniem, kiedy jest się w klasie maturalnej.

W dzisiejszej dobie, gdy granice większości państw są dla nas otwarte, a podróżowanie jest znacznie prostsze, niż było kiedyś, wszyscy z pewnością zdają sobie sprawę, jak ważna jest nauka języków obcych. Szczególnie bliskie są nam: język angielski, rosyjski, a dla niektórych niemiecki. Uczymy się ich, powtarzamy czasem nudne i skomplikowane regułki gramatyczne, zakuwamy słówka... Jednak nauka wcale nie musi być nudna, czego dowodem były wyjątkowe warsztaty, w których uczestniczyli uczniowie kl. II D, IIB, IIA, IC, ID, IIIcg.
Sukces uczniów ze „Staszica” w Ogólnopolskiej Franciszkańskiej Olimpiadzie Wiedzy o św. Maksymilianie
11 kwietnia 2018 r., w Siedlcach, miał miejsce finał XII Ogólnopolskiej Franciszkańskiej Olimpiady Wiedzy o św. Maksymilianie. Organizatorem Olimpiady jest Klasztor Ojców Franciszkanów w Siedlcach, a współorganizatorami - Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego oraz Prowincje Zakonu Braci Mniejszych Konwentualnych (Ojców Franciszkanów), z siedzibami: w Warszawie, Krakowie i Gdańsku.

19 kwietnia o godz. 18 w Hrubieszowskim Domu Kultury wystąpi Jan Kondrak (nasz absolwent) w koncercie pt. "O miłości".
Cena biletu 20 zł, do nabycia w HDK pok. nr 4 w godz. 8:00 – 15:00.
Koszykarki Staszica 3 rok z rzędu zdobywają brąz na województwie!!!
Dnia 10 kwietnia 2018 roku w Białej Podlaskiej odbył się Finał Wojewódzkiej Licealiady SZS w koszykówce dziewcząt. Nasz rejon reprezentowały dziewczęta z Zespołu Szkół nr 2 w Hrubieszowie, które po wygraniu zawodów powiatowych oraz rejonowych znalazły się wśród sześciu najlepszych drużyn w województwie.

6 kwietnia, w Instytucie Filologii Słowiańskiej na Katolickim Uniwersytecie Lubelskim w Lublinie, odbyło się rozstrzygniecie VII Edycji Wojewódzkiego Konkursu na najlepszą prezentację multimedialną „Sakralne oblicze Ukrainy”. Konkurs był adresowany do uczniów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych, organizatorem którego został Instytut Filologii Słowiańskiej. Uczestnicy musieli wykazać się wiedzą z zakresu początków chrześcijaństwa na Rusi Kijowskiej, architektury sakralnej, ikon, miejsc kultu prawosławia oraz problematyki wyznań we współczesnej Ukrainie.
Warto uczyć się w "Staszicu"
4 i 5 kwietnia 2018 r., w naszej szkole odbył się cykl spotkań z ubiegłorocznymi maturzystkami, obecnie studentkami Warszawskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego – Dominiką Malinowską i Aleksandrą Szostak.

W maju, w rosyjskim Arteku, odbędzie się etap międzynarodowy konkursu „Живаяклассика” połączony z bezpłatnym 3-tygodniowym wypoczynkiem. Do reprezentowania naszego kraju wytypowane zostały 2 osoby – uczennice klas pierwszych Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie – Ola Wesołek i Ania Najczuk.

15 czerwca 2023 roku w Lublinie odbył się Wojewódzki Finał Licealiady w Festiwalu Sztafet. Znakomicie zaprezentowali się uczniowie I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie zajmując miejsca na podium! Gratulacje!!!
