Nasi uczniowie będą rywalizować w finale "Algorytmu"!
Kacper Osiński (IIIbg) oraz Kacper Janczuk (IIdg) zostali finalistami XIV Regionalnego Konkursu Informatycznego "Algorytm". Eliminacje dla powiatu hrubieszowskiego odbyły się w SP nr 2 w Hrubieszowie, 24.04.2018 r. Spośród ponad 60 uczestników II etapu we wszystkich powiatach regionu, chłopcy zakwalifikowali się do ścisłego finału, który odbędzie się 21.05.2018 r., w Zamościu. Kacper Osiński jest ubiegłorocznym laureatem tego konkursu. Gratulujemy i liczymy na zwycięstwo obu chłopców również w tym roku!
Stypendium im. płk Franciszka Kornickiego
Dla najzdolniejszych uczniów Gimnazjum i Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica powstał fundusz stypendialny, utworzony przez absolwenta naszej szkoły płk Franciszka Kornickiego (1916 - 2017r.).
Humanista ze "Staszica" wygrał "szansę na biznes"
24 kwietnia 2018 roku, w Zamościu, odbył się finał konkursu ekonomicznego pt.: "Mój biznes szansą dla mojego regionu". Uczniowie szkół ponadgimnazjalnych zmagali się w trzech etapach konkursu.
Organizatorem konkursu była Biblioteka Pedagogiczna w Zamościu, we współpracy z Fundacją Banku Zachodniego WBK.
Uczniowie klas biologiczno-chemicznych Staszica na Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Lublinie
W czwartek 12 kwietnia 2018 r. uczniowie klas biologiczno-chemicznych: klasy II B i klasy III B Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks Stanisława Staszica pod opieką wychowawców Anny Modzelewskiej, Barbary Brzezickiej i pedagog Jolanty Korneluk uczestniczyli w dniu Otwartym Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Lublinie.

21 kwietnia z okazji setnych urodzin "Staszica" uczniowie wraz z nauczycielami i rodzicami posadzili 100 drzewek.

20 kwietnia w Centrum Języka Rosyjskiego na UMCS w Lublinie odbył się Jubileuszowy X Konkurs Slawistyczny pod honorowym patronatem Marszałka Województwa Lubelskiego, Kuratorium Oświaty w Lublinie, Rosyjskiego Ośrodka Nauki i Kultury Języka Rosyjskiego w Warszawie.
Celem konkursu jest popularyzacja wiedzy o krajach słowiańskich, poznanie ich specyfiki i odmienności kultury (języka, literatury, świąt, zwyczajów i obrzędów, muzyki, komunikacji międzykulturowej itp. jednego z wybranych przez uczestnika krajów słowiańskich – Białorusi, Bułgarii, Rosji, Ukrainy).

16 kwietnia 2018 r. w naszej szkole przedstawiony został projekt edukacyjny pod tytułem „Korzenie i skrzydła” przygotowany przez uczniów kl. II bg i II dg pod opieką p. Joanny Lis.
Barbara Kusiak w finale Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Wiedzy Biblijnej!
18 kwietnia br., odbył się w I LO im. Jana Zamoyskiego w Zamościu II etap Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Wiedzy Biblijnej, którego organizatorem od 22 lat jest Katolickie Stowarzyszenie „Civitas Christiana”. W tym roku zakres merytoryczny konkursu obejmuje: Księgę Psalmów, List do Galatów i List do Filipian wraz z wprowadzeniami, przypisami i komentarzami oraz słownikiem. Tekstem źródłowym Konkursu jest Pismo Święte Starego i Nowego Testamentu – najnowszy przekład z języków oryginalnych z komentarzem (Edycja Świętego Pawła, 2011).

15 czerwca 2023 roku w Lublinie odbył się Wojewódzki Finał Licealiady w Festiwalu Sztafet. Znakomicie zaprezentowali się uczniowie I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w Hrubieszowie zajmując miejsca na podium! Gratulacje!!!
