Staszic na XIV kweście
1 listopada 2018 r. uczniowie klasy III b i I a liceum wzięli udział w czternastej już kweście na renowację najstarszych zabytków hrubieszowskiego cmentarza. W ramach współpracy ze Społecznym Komitetem Ratowania Zabytków Cmentarnych Hrubieszowa, młodzież z panią Dorotą Sędłak w godzinach od 9.00. do 15.00. zbierała datki m.in. na odrestaurowanie zabytkowej kaplicy z 1860 r. Mieszkańcy okazali się wyjątkowo hojni: kwestującym udało się zebrać sumę 10 300,43 zł i 10 euro.
Pamiętamy o grobach nauczycieli
Przed dniem Wszystkich Świętych, tradycyjnie już, wolontariusze LO im. ks. Stanisława Staszica wraz z opiekunami wzięli udział w sprzątaniu grobów zmarłych nauczycieli naszej szkoły.
30 października br. uczniowie "Staszica" z klasy II D (Ewa Bartnik, Maciej Dembicki vel Wiśniewski, Łukasz Janicki, Michał Jemielniak, Agata Kisielewska, Julia Misiuk, Justyna Piaszczyk, Szymon Steciuk, Weronika Stępkowska, Wiktoria Stępkowska, Laura Szozda) wraz panią dyr. Barbarą Brzezicką, panią Anną Pękowską i z katechetką – s. Bernadettą Kozieł, udali się na miejscowy cmentarz, aby uporządkować nagrobki byłych nauczycieli z naszej szkoły. Zapalenie zniczy, modlitwa, refleksja i zaduma - lekcja szacunku i pamięci o przodkach. Pogoda w tym dniu dopisała wyjątkowo.
Spotkanie z lekarzem onkologiem
W dniu 16 października 2018 uczniowie klas trzecich liceum i klasy drugiej biologiczno-chemicznej "Staszica" mogli uczestniczyć w kolejnym spotkaniu prozdrowotnym. Tematem spotkania była profilaktyka nowotworów. W ramach współpracy Stowarzyszenia ''Staszic” ze Stowarzyszeniem Amazonki z Hrubieszowa uczniowie uczestniczyli w zajęciach warsztatowych. Spotkanie prowadziła pani dr n. med. Małgorzata Chilimoniuk - specjalista radioterapii onkologicznej - ordynator Oddziału Radioterapii NU-MED Centrum Diagnostyki i Terapii Onkologicznej Zamość Sp. z o.o. Ośrodek radioterapii mieści się przy Samodzielnym Publicznym Szpitalu Wojewódzkim im. Papieża Jana Pawła II w Zamościu.
Mediacje rówieśnicze w szkole
W bieżącym roku szkolnym przystąpiliśmy do realizacji projektu „Mediacje rówieśnicze w szkole”. Jednym z zadań jest przeszkolenie i wyłonienie mediatorów rówieśniczych. W związku z tym, 18 grudnia, w ramach obchodów Międzynarodowego Dnia Mediacji, odbyły się pogadanki z mediatorkami rówieśniczymi z klas licealnych z naszej szkoły, które posiadają już certyfikat mediatora rówieśniczego. Uczennice dzieliły się swoją wiedzą i doświadczeniem z młodszymi koleżankami i kolegami.
Szkolny Dzień Bezpieczeństwa Cyfrowego
29 października w naszej szkole odbył się Szkolny Dzień Bezpieczeństwa Cyfrowego w ramach projektu Ministerstwa Edukacji Narodowej „Cyfrowobezpieczni.pl- Bezpieczna Szkoła Cyfrowa.”

Zawód pedagoga jest jednym z najbardziej niewdzięcznych zawodów na świecie. Uczysz wbrew temu, którego uczysz. (…) I jeśli w tym zawodzie jest coś z powołania, to to, że uczysz pomimo wszystko wytrwale, wiedząc, że zostaniesz doceniona przez ucznia dopiero w przyszłości. (Zofia Kucówna)
Niesamowita wycieczka na Wschód!
W czwartek 18 października 2018 roku uczniowie naszej szkoły pod opieką pań Neonili Pawluk, Agnieszki Jamroż i Ludwiki Siudyki udali się na wycieczkę historyczno -krajoznawczą na Ukrainę. Jej uczestnicy spędzili dwa dni za granicą Bugu. W czasie podróży młodzież miała okazję podziwiać piękną architekturę Lwowa i nienaruszoną przyrodę krajobrazu ukraińskiego. Najpierw pojechaliśmy do stolicy Podola – Kamieńca Podolskiego, położonego nad rzeką Smotrycz. To piękne miasto zachwyca swoją potężną twierdzą i bogatą historią. Na szczególną uwagę zasługuje wielokulturowość tych ziem – zamieszkiwali je nasi rodacy, Ormianie i ludność ruska. Noc uczestnicy wycieczki spędzili w ekskluzywnym hotelu "Kleopatra", gdzie czekały na nich liczne atrakcje, takie jak basen czy kręgle. Nie można było również pominąć wieczornego spaceru urokliwymi ulicami miasta.
